"Cameron’s sounds have been floating around the internet for the latter part of this year, maybe you remember hearing them under his former High Sea moniker, but the production of unique and original aural magic has been this dudes game far longer than his bandcamp leads on. We’ve been swooning over his collaborative performances with Birthdays all year long and having the chance to see him drum alongside Sammy “Babydude” Yager, Andrew “Share-a-tories” Morehart, and Jordan “fucking” Lee as a component in the Mutual Benefit live band has been one of the greatest shows I’ve seen all year. Lil’ dude is becoming a staple in the heart of how I imagine Boston, a heart physically tattooed on his neck that pulses with every lyric crooned or beat manifested… ungh, so badass. After months of becoming accustomed to his bite sized gems “I Keep Having Dreams That You’ll Let Me Come Back Home”, from his forthcoming full-length, comes in the form of a heart beat aka a breath of life anthem celebrating the memories of people in your life that don’t repeat. We salute, love and support you Cameron Potter, and I hope that this recording contributed the catharsis in your life that you’ve been searching for. Oughtta be released with Birthdays’ “I’m Keeping Some of Mine For Me” [audio] and Max Alper’s “diningroomtable”… sounds that feel damn great to shed a soul tear with."
